11 players challenged themselves with 5 rounds of over-the-board chess November 5-6 in Oshkosh. This weekend was all about learning, building stamina, and understanding what we need to improve. A few individuals achieved some notable outcomes:
- Nathanael Himsel, Junior: 3 wins and a draw, finished 14th of 64 in the Reserve Section, rating jump from 507 to 651
- Carson Reik, Sophomore: 3 wins in 5 games, finished 16th of 41 in the Open Section, rating jump from 1067 to 1223
