Reik, Klemann bring home hardware from 2021 WI Junior Open

Seven KML players gained experience playing live chess in G120 games, five rounds at the 2021 WI Junior Open. The event tested their physical and mental stamina as each of their games lasted 2-3 hours. Carson Reik finished 5th in the Reserve section (for players rated under 900). Ryan Wirkkula finished 10th in the Reserve and Zak Schulz finished 11th. Christian Klemann finished best of the under 500 rating class. And there was much rejoicing.
